Throughout the week, students will film and edit advertisements, design digital promotions, and build a pitch deck and written report. The camp ends with formal presentations to a juging panel, boosting creativity, public speaking, and teamwork skills.

Date: June 23 to June 27

Discounted Registration Deadline: May 14th
Regular Registration Deadline: June 19th

Carlmont Business & Tech Camp

At the Carlmont Business & Tech Camp, students will team up to create their own startup business plans. With guidance from Carlmont DECA mentors, they’ll explore the basics of business, entrepreneurship, technology, and design. Each group will bring their ideas to life and pitch them Shark Tank-style to a panel of judges and parents on Friday, building confidence, creativity, and public speaking skills along the way.

Students will learn the valuable skills of developing a startup business plan, professional pitching and asking for an investment, creating a prototype or wireframe, and using spreadsheets and formulas.

Date: July 28 to August 1

Discounted Registration Deadline: June 6
Regular Registration Deadline: July 18
